Young Driver Surcharge

For most locations the minimum age is 25 without an additional Age Differential Charge. Drivers between the age of 20 and 25 will be charged with a Young Drivers Surcharge.

Please follow the steps underneath to retrieve the age restrictions for a specific country and/or station.

- Click on the link https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/location
- Enter your pickup location and press "Find Locations";
- Click on "More Location Details" under the location name and details;
- Scroll the page down and click on "Qualifications & Requirements";
- Select "Age Restrictions and Exceptions" in the drop down menu that will pop up
- Your customer must show the documents underneath when he picks-up the car
- A drivers license that is valid and issued for at least 1 year
- A valid Credit card which is provided with the reservation
